Sundial Chardonnay

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What about carbohydrate content?
A.

Red wine - 1.8        Rose wine - 1.5        White wine - 0.8

Q. Can you drink white wine with meat?
A. The old rules have definitely changed. Chardonnay, with its full body and rich flavors, is ideal served with many veal and pork dishes while lighter reds, such as Pinot Noir are wonderful with salmon and ahi tuna. For more information on pairing food and wine, see Food & Wine Pairing Tips in the Food & Wine section of our website.

Q. How do I estimate the amount of wine needed for dinner or a party, etc.?
A. One standard bottle of wine (750 ml) will provide enough for roughly five 5 ounce glasses. You will have to estimate the amount of wine you think your guests will consume depending on whether you're serving wine with appetizers, a sit-down dinner, serving both red and white wine, etc. And always remember, of course, that some guests will be driving.
