There, nestled in the rolling hills of Mendocino County, you'll find our Tasting Room Visitor Center. We invite you to sample some of our finest wines. Explore our organic garden. Or enjoy a picnic by the lake. At Fetzer Vineyards, you'll discover a whole other Wine Country. Discover it for yourself. Before everyone else does.

The Valley Oaks Ranch, with its unique turn-of-the-century farm houses and barns, was purchased in 1984. The ranch was originally a major center for the production of livestock, poultry, hops, and pears in the late 1800s. Hops and pears gave way to grapes in the early '80s. In 1985, Fetzer created a state-of-the-art educational center to share information about food and wine in a beautiful, tranquil setting.
