Sunday, August 27, 2000 - Tasting Course: "A Sensory Exploration"
Fetzer Vineyards' wine and food educator, Colleen Stewart, will guide an excursion that will de-mystify the age-old confusion of wine and food flavors. The aroma challenge will help each person learn how to identify and describe the elusive aromas in wine. After the aroma challenge, the class will explore how wine and food can be combined in interesting and harmonious ways. Seminar begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 Noon. Fee: $35 per person.

Thursday, September 14, 2000 - "Integrated Fitness Class"
Nutritionist, Connie Gutterson, and fitness instructor, Ruth Strader, team up and offer a morning of power Yoga followed by a nutrition seminar and healthy lunch in one of Mendocino County's most beautiful and tranquil settings. After lunch, Visitor Center Manager, Brad McDonald, will lead a brisk fitness walk around the vineyard. Class begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m. Fee: $35 per person.

Sunday, September 24, 2000 - Cooking Class: "Matching Food & Wine"
Fetzer Vineyards' Culinary Director and award-winning author, John Ash, will de-mystify matching the right foods and wines together to achieve wonderful results. Students should come prepared to taste lots of combinations and in the process learn the principles of marrying food and wine. Class begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 Noon. Fee: $80 per person.

Sunday, October 8, 2000 - Cooking Class: "Great Vegetarian Dishes"
Fetzer Vineyards' Culinary Director and award-winning author, John Ash, will discuss the trend toward eating more plant-based foods. Not only is it usually a healthier way to eat, but the opportunity to experience new flavors and textures abounds. We promise you won't miss the meat in this class! Class begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 Noon. Fee: $80 per person.
