The wine country you remember still exists
in Mendocino County at the Fetzer Bed & Breakfast. Peaceful. Unspoiled.
Delightfully uncrowded and only two hours north of San Francisco.
At the Fetzer Bed & Breakfast in Hopland, California, you can
relax with a bottle of fine varietal wine, linger in the extensive
gourmet deli and gift shop, tour the organic garden or taste wine
in the Fetzer Tasting Room. Whatever you decide to do, you'll leave
refreshed and relaxed, with a new-found knowledge for the history
and personality of this northern wine growing region.

When ranch owner A.W. Foster chose clear redwood
siding to adorn his carriage house, he certainly wasn't thinking about
the ambiance and warmth it would add to the Fetzer Bed & Breakfast.
His prized draft horses couldn't appreciate the character of the wood,
but you can when you stay in one of the six Carriage House guestrooms.
Each room has a vineyard view and all the modern conveniences, including
televisions and phones. All of the rooms have overstuffed queen beds.
Downstairs rooms feature private, enclosed patios with a vineyard
view, and upstairs suites come equipped with kitchenettes, sitting
area and extra large bathroom with whirlpool bath. Each room has a
private bath entry. The Carriage House rooms are tastefully designed
with your comfort and relaxation in mind, and all of them are adjacent
to the seasonal pool and patio.
