WINEMAKER NOTES
Our 1997 Fetzer Valley Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon is medium garnet in color, with a rich nose of bright cherry and plum aromas, accented with sweet vanilla, mild earth and green olive. On the palate, the wine offers bright berry, cherry, and plum fruit, enhanced with gentle vanilla flavors. Tannins are modest in this medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, with subtle earthy notes emerging on the finish.

This wine is made to enjoy upon release, and will continue to develop and mature in the bottle for three to five years.

GRAPE SOURCING
These grapes were sourced predominantly from the North Coast, complimented by fruit from Lodi and San Luis Obispo counties.
