Fetzer Vineyards is proud to announce the release of our premier Syrah.

This is the first release of a Syrah by Fetzer Vineyards in their Premium Varietal collection. With America's growing interest in the varietal, creating a reasonably priced Syrah of very good quality became an exciting new challenge for the Fetzer winemaking team.

Syrah has already established itself as a significant player in California's viticulture scene and will become the next "hot" wine. Much as it was for Merlot in the early '90s, the interest in Syrah is just starting to grow. Syrah is now the fastest growing varietal in the US - up 46% according to Nielsen Winescan data.
